Corteccia ("Bark") by L'Erbolario
This is a beautiful woody-resinous fragrance. Natural, no chemical feel about it, smells like dewey willow wood in the mist of a warm spring morning.
The head notes are citrusy and include Bergamot, Grapefruit, Orange, Mandarin, Artemisia, Coriander, Cardamom and Cypress.
The heart notes are the ones providing the spicyness to the perfume: Cedar wood, Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Apple.
The bottom notes are Benzoin of Siam, Tonka beans and Moss.
Fresh and warm, slightly powdery due to the sandalwood, I sense mainly spicy Christmassy cinnamon, oak bark, cedarwood and hints of sweetness. Projects well and the longevity is up to 8 hours. Although it's quite linear, it gets sweeter in the drydown (due to the benzoin and tonka beans).
